Antelope Canyon Weather

What’s the weather like at and around Antelope Canyon? As it turns out, you can really enjoy your trip to the Canyon at any time of the year. Read on to learn more about what the different seasons have to offer during your one-of-a-kind trip to Antelope Canyon.

Spring and Summer

Springtime and summertime at the canyon offer the breathtaking sunbeams of light that shine through the Canyon, highlighting its unique physical features. These light beams are part of what makes Antelope Canyon the most visited slot canyon in the southwestern United States. A tour between 11 am and 1:30 pm on a sunny day between March and September will offer the most powerful natural light display possible, and this time of day can provide wonderful Antelope Canyon weather for tourists.

Fall and Winter

While the famous light beams are not visible in the colder months, the Canyon produces an enchanting array of different colors during autumn and winter. If you’ve already visited during the warmer months, or are looking for a more unique experience than the standard, you might want to book your tour between October and March. You can also benefit from smaller crowds at this time of the year, so if you are the type of person who likes a quieter adventure, a cooler weather trip may be your best bet. Keep in mind that wintertime Antelope Canyon weather is unlikely to include snow, so wintery conditions shouldn’t hamper your tour no matter what month it is.
