What to Expect
At the beginning of your tour, you will board a 4×4 truck and will soon arrive at the mouth of Upper Antelope. Since the entire slot canyon is at walking level, your trip from here — which will be guided by a member of the Navajo Nation and lasts for about one hour — will be fairly smooth but always fascinating as you visit highly photographed areas, learn about Navajo culture, and discover the fascinating history of the Canyon. Since Antelope Canyon tours are accessible by permit only, a tour like the Sightseers Tour is one of your only options for experiencing all that the Canyon has to offer.
The first tour of the day begins at 8:45 a.m. MST and the last one runs at 4 p.m. MST. Tours are available daily and begin on the top of the hour. The tour price for adults is $60 per person and includes both tax and your required Navajo Parks & Recreation permit. Children between the ages of zero and 12 receive a discounted rate of $30 and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Final Notes
Please remember when you are choosing from any Upper Antelope Canyon tours that this beautiful canyon is considered by the Navajo to be a sacred site and should be respected as such. Littering, spreading ashes, using selfie sticks, and bringing tripods or monopods are all prohibited. To learn more about our tours and to book yours, contact us today.
