Antelope Canyon

Because of its reputation as a wonderful spot for photographers of all skill levels, it is understandable that photo enthusiasts want the opportunity to take the best pictures of Upper Antelope Canyon possible while enjoying their visit to Antelope Canyon. Recently, Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours ended the Guided Photography Tour package option, which was designed to meet the specific needs of serious photographers. However, the Guided Sightseers Tour offers visitors an exciting experience that includes time for taking photographs and much more. We are sure you have some questions about this change – read on to find answers to your most pressing ones.

A More Enjoyable Tour for All Visitors

Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours has made updates to their tour options to give all visitors with a better overall experience. The new tour schedule will provide visitors with a less crowded tour experience. This in turn leads to better accessibility to the upper Canyon’s natural beauty, which allows for better photo opportunities for all tourists.

What Will I Experience in a Sightseers Tour?

The Guided Sightseers Tour is a fascinating and well-rounded experience for adventurers of all ages, including seasoned and novice photographers. You will be guided by one of our knowledgeable tour guides, all of whom are members of the Navajo Nation. Your guide will show you the most popular areas of the Canyon and provide you with ample time to take photographs of its most famous sights. Our visitor-focused guides will even help you set up your camera to get the best shots possible. Along the way, you will learn about the Canyon’s history as well as the Navajo people. The experience is one of a lifetime that you will not soon forget – and you will have a host of stunning photographs to show to family and friends when you get home.

What Are The New Tour Times?

Another step that we have taken to improve the tour experience for visitors is to introduce a new set of daily tour times. Our doors open at 7:00 am and close at 4:30 pm. Here are the new times for each of our Guided Sightseers Tours:

  • 7:30 am
  • 9:00 am
  • 11:00 am
  • 12:00 pm
  • 2:00 pm
  • 4:15 pm

If you are looking to experience the most famous display that Antelope Canyon has to offer, be sure to book one of our tours between 11:00 am and 12:15 pm between March and early September so you can see the beautiful summer light beams in all their glory. Are you hoping to get pictures that are more one-of-a-kind? Consider an off-season visit. The walls of Upper Antelope produce beautiful changing colors that may be unlike anything you’ve seen in pictures before.
